I started this business back in July 2016 and over the years I have built up a lovely set of clients with beautiful pets of all shapes and sizes. Firstly, I would like to thank all of them for their trust in me. I appreciate that handing over your house keys to someone you have just met is a massive decision to make. Secondly, I would like to thank everyone for their return bookings. It's great to know that I am providing a service that people are very happy with........check out their feedback in the various sections and below.
*** I'd like to wish all my clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2020 ***
December began with a live-in for a weekend with Red, Cole and Pink. We all had a lovely time having lots of cuddles, play and walks. However bedtime wasn't so fun being pinned under the duvet by three determined doggies, but what the heck, they're cute. I welcomed a new client based in Walsall, Nancy, the Boxer puppy. She'd very cute and playful and has teeth like razor blades, and she loves her cuddles. I had my normal days with Bobby and did a few sits with Sakura too. I looked after Bella and Bear for a few days before Christmas. On Christmas Day and Boxing Day I did visits to James and Daisy. On New Years Eve I had a few hours with Bobby and I had a visit to Fred and Stan that day too and one on New Years Day.
I am currently working with Nancy one day a week. I'm doing this on a trial basis to see how the traffic is as it takes just over half an hour to do one way. Hopefully things will prove viable as she is a lovely girl and we get on well.

Thank you kylie'

In December I welcomed a new client, Romeo. He was very timid and it took time and patients sitting on the floor to get him to even try to come over and see me. After the initial visit, progress was made and on the others he did come over for a bit of fuss and a good roll around on the floor, he seemed to like his belly rubs though.

November has been a lovely month beginning with a live-in for Avril with Bobby and then my normal days. I housed Vladimir and Cronsp, two Blue Death Feigning Beetles for almost a week for their owners. I had a couple of visits with my new client, Pepsi and then finished the month spending a weekend with Red, Cole and Pink.
I had my last visit with these four on the 1st November. Daniel was looking after the dogs for his Mum, Carol. However there were a few days where he couldn't be around so he booked me, via Pawshake, to home visit twice a day. See the reviews below:

"Kylie has been great with my dogs. Her friendly, calm demeanour and knowledge of animals is fantastic. One of my dogs is a really nervous rescue, and often had problems leaving her for even a short while. It’s been great having Kylie, no issues at all when leaving the dogs. Kylie spent lots of time getting to know them, and lots of contact through her visits. I’d highly recommend her to anyone seeking care for their animals." ...Daniel

October began with a live-in looking after Bobby. We had a lot of trips to the park and she loved her visits from Rob, my partner, and also the walks he joined us on. I had almost 3 weeks doing daily feeds for Fred & Stan, then my normal days with Bobby for the rest of the month. I looked after Sakura during the month too along with Bella and Bear. Towards the end of the month I welcomed new clients...Ben, Rosie, Lucy and Truffle. Three of which are disabled and the other one has debilitating fear (ex Puppy farming dog). The four were a pleasure to work with .Its fab to see how these discarded dogs have been given such a loving home and are able to flourish.

'I can't thank Kylie enough for looking after our 3 cats. I feel very confident that the cards are happy and well looked after while we are away. Kylie updates you every day with photos of the cats too. I wouldn't use anybody else but Kylie to look after our cats'

I've been insanely busy during August, working on average for 6 clients a day, leaving the house at 9am and not getting home until 8pm.
I've welcomed some beautiful new clients this month, which began with Roxanne and her gorgeous Husky, Shay. I visited her twice a day to walk and fuss her whilst her owners were on holiday.

My next new clients were Ed and Katherine with their two cats, Finlay and Katie. On the 'meet and greet' I had lots of fuss with Finlay but Katie ran away when Kath bought her to meet me. They said she was a very nervous cat and was not good with new people. The week went well with them and the two visits a day. They had their food in the morning and then went out to explore for the day, then they were waiting for me to come back in at tea-time. During the first evening visit, Fin sat on my lap for fuss. By the third visit Katie was sat on my lap having the same treatment. The owners were amazed and so happy that their cats were so happy and settled.

Can not recommend Pawfect Friends highly enough. A truly first class service - Kylie took great care of our cats whilst we went on holiday & I can honestly say, it was an animal lovers dream, particularly if you have a nervous pet as we do..
Kylie went above & beyond in terms of keeping us up to date with how the cats were by providing twice daily updates as well as photos.
Normally when we go away on holiday, we dread leaving the cats however we shall definitely be using Pawfect Friends when we go away in future due to Kylie making our recent trip utterly stress free.
Thank you ever so much for taking such wonderful care of Finlay & Katie." ...... Ed Charlton
Augusts next new client was a neighbour of Bobby and Pip's owner. Welcome to Adele & Rob with Woody. Their eldest son was here whilst the rest of the family went on holiday. Adele asked me to pop in on certain days to let Woody out and give him a bit of fuss. The other days their son was around. Woody is a very nervous dog and barks and growls at everyone. He has seen me on the estate for 2 years and still growls, but he does now come and reluctantly say hello...so this was going to be a challenge. The first couple of days I had to hunt him out within the house, and I was met with fierce deep growls, which I duly ignored. I sat with him and persisted to fuss him despite his protest. On the first day he hid under the kitchen table and refused to go outside. By the second day he let me pick him up and take him downstairs to the back door. He went out but just growled at me on the landing. On Day 3, I had growls, he let me pick him up and bring him down to the back door, he did go out and do his business though. The following visits were a marked improvement. When I located him, there wasn't a peep out of him, I sat with him and he had lots of belly rubs and kisses. He willingly followed me down to the back door and wanted me to go out with him. I sat outside and he kept coming back to me for fuss. I kept my routine of sitting on the kitchen floor waiting for him to come to me. He now does, straight away, he had lots of fuss, then lies down and rolls onto his side for belly rubs....this has been such rewarding progress for 'us' and his owners.

"Really pleased with the service from Kylie of Pawfect friends. My anxious cockerpoo has never been in kennels and is nervous of strangers. Kylie’s home visit service was perfect as he is happier in his home environment. She used her knowledge and experience of anxious dogs and persevered until he’d run and greet her and enjoy hugs and belly rubs also. We loved receiving the daily photos and updates as this totally put our mind at rest so we could enjoy our break. 5 stars" ....Adele Langston
During August I also had my daily regulars, Bobby and Woody. I sat a number of days with Pip and then Sakura. I also had holiday bookings to visit Cookie and Barney. I also had return clients, Sam and Heather, with their cat Bella and the kitten they kept, Bear.
Sadly Amy is moving house on the August Bank Holiday so this has been my last month with the gorgeous whippet puppy, Woody. I wish Amy, John and Woody all the best in their new home together up in Liverpool.
I will be dedicating a number of days in September for my Reiki Level 2 - Client Studies, so I have most of my bookings now allocated.

July has been busy and August is set to be busier still. I'm enjoying things though and I am finding that I seem to do well with nervous pets. I had another this month (Elton) and then I have two more booked in for next month.
July started with feeding visits for my regulars, Fred and Stan. It's lovely seeing how settled Stan is with me now, he is no longer nervous and waits for my arrival, their fuss, and food delivery. I had Bobby on my regular days along with Woody the beautiful whippet puppy. I looked after Pip on a number of days this month and had a return booking from Sally with the chatty Barney. I had a lovely afternoon with Sakura and then welcomed new clients Kathy with her two cats Alvin and Elton.

"Kylie looked after my two cats whilst was away on holiday for a week. She was friendly and attentive with them both and took extra care as one of them can be nervous of new people. She sent me pictures every day and kept me in touch. Highly recommended."

June has flown by, I've only had 3 days without working. The month began with the continuation of feeding trips to Bella and the Kittens, they have now figured out how to escape the pen. I've normally gone in to find one very lonely kitty on their own in the pen and the other three sat inside the curtain soaking up the sun with Mum. I had my regular days with Bobby and worked Woody in to my week at lunchtimes. I had a successful 'meet and greet' with Kathy and her two cats Alvin & Elton, who we will see on here later in the year. I've also had a couple of days with Pip, we met Gemma and Sakura on one of the walks. I've also had feeding trips to James and Daisy, and the month ended with trips for Fred and Stan.
This little bird hit the window next door to Bobby. Lorna asked me for help, so I picked him up and gave him some fuss and warmth. Later on her was released and flew away. -------------------------------------------------------------- Huge congtrats to Woody and Amy. They went to the local Novelty Dog Show and Woody won Best Puppy. |
May has been an excellent month even though my week off got booked up with clients. The month started with the tail end of the feeding visits for Fred and Stan. I had my usual days with Bobby, then 17 days looking after Cookie for Tanu. During this time I also had a week living-in with Bobby. We went on some new walks in the park and did some exploring.
I had a couple of 'Meet and Greet's', which resulted in me welcoming three new clients (one later in the year). I had five days looking after Bella and her four kittens, which I really enjoyed as it's been a while since Rob and I had our last set of kitties in the house. I also welcomed a new regular client, a whippet puppy called Woody....and oh my gosh he is so so cute! At the end of the month I also had a few days doing feeding visits for James and Daisy.

"Thank you for looking after Cookie for over two weeks.
I Appreciate your reliability, punctuality and timely ness. So caring, loving and considerate to Cookie. And not a day went by where you didn’t send us photos of cookie always keeping us in the loop.
Everything was left clean.
I really appreciate your service as you try so hard not to let me down around our timings and always coming up with a back up plan.
Thank you for your continuing support. Means a lot to me and Cookie".....Tanu Patel (Cookie)

When I did the meet and greet for Bella and the Kittens, they were due to start weaning but Sam and Heather were unsure how to do this. I advised the method that we use which is a Baby Rice and Kitten Milk mix, which gets them used to eating, then add kitten food gradually. When I started the five days, 3 of the kittens would eat from the plate but the fourth one was unsure an I think a little intimidated. So i began by hand feeding and then leading him to his own little bowl of food. By the end of the five days he was eating with the others.

Hi Kylie, just wanted to say a belated big THANK YOU for looking after Bella and our Kittens 👍🏼 We really appreciated you coming around first and especially all your kitten advice! And all the pictures and messages put our minds at rest whilst away. We will certainly be calling on you again x ....Sam Bailey
My main client, Bobby, had her cruciate ligament operation in April. She was stuck in for a few days then on restricted ten minute walks for the month. She seems to be coping and healing well. I also did feeding visits for Cookie along with Fred and Stan. I also had a weekend visiting James and Daisy and the owners friends cats as they'd been looking after them too for a week or more. I also welcomed a new client, Barney, he's an old but beautiful boy.....so here are some photos of the months antics,
It's lovely to see the trust building up with Stan. He is no longer running out of the house when I turn up, he's beaten his nerves and stays for fuss, he's now showing his belly for a rub....the ultimate sign of trust.

The huge live-in with Bobby continued into March, followed by my first live-in for four days with Pip. The rest of the month consisted of my normal days with Bobby and a few feeding visits to Fred and Stan.
February has been really busy with overnight stays with Bobby, days sitting with Pip, feeding trips to James and Daisy and then Fred and Stan. The month finished with a huge live-in with Bobby whilst her owners went on holiday. I've also managed to fit in my Reiki Level 1 course...how, I have no idea.
January began with the tail end of home visits to the beautiful Cookie and a few days visiting James & Daisy. My bookings continued with my regular client, Bobby, these were days mixed with overnight stays. I also had a few days with little Pip. We had lots of play and cuddles too with all the happy pets of the month. Towards the end of the month the UK was getting record low temperatures, even though it was very cold, the park looked stunning.
