I started this business back in July 2016 and over the years I have built up a lovely set of clients with beautiful pets of all shapes and sizes. Firstly, I would like to thank all of them for their trust in me. I appreciate that handing over your house keys to someone you have just met is a massive decision to make. Secondly, I would like to thank everyone for their return bookings. It's great to know that I am providing a service that people are very happy with........check out their feedback in the various sections and below.
The downside to this job is losing clients. It's never the text you want to receive and some affect more than others...this special boy was Stan...I've worked with him and Fred for a long time now. When I started they were so scared and always took off through the cat flap. Stan was the biggest wuss but became the more fussy and was always waiting for me on the bed for his fuss and belly rubs ... unless he had an exciting prior date in the garden lol...sadly he had to be put to sleep yesterday after the neighbours finding him with a broken back in their garden....his owner is devastated as am I...rest easy sweet Stan xx

April saw the continuation of visits with Aurora and Lola. I had my usual visits with the two Coco's and Nala along with a 4 day live-in with Bobby. Ripples and Tango came next, some sessions with Raffles and some walks with Dexter. I had a week with the gorgeous fluff-ball, Monty, more visits to Ripples and Tango, some to Trixie and Faye and another walk with Dexter.
March started off quite busy finishing the live-in with Bobby, the visits to Fred & Stan and Ripples & Tango. I had my regular visits with Nala and the two Coco's and a couple of visits with Bentley. I had another little set of visits to Ripples & Tango and an overnight with Nala. The month closed out with a week with Prince and visits began to little Lola and also Aurora
WhatsApp messages from Chrissy - Prince's Owner
- Prince had various bad knots and matting in his long fur that were close to his skin. He'd pulled some out so they were obviously bothering him. I managed to cut a couple out and Chrissy said if I can get the rest then that would be great. Over a period of a few days with coaxing and distraction I managed to cut them all out. This has saved him the possible trauma of being shaved. "Can't tell you how much I appreciate it, honestly. It's been stressing me out so much" "You're amazing, thank you so much" |
February has been quite busy with my routine visits to the two Coco's and Nala, I also did a couple of walks with Dexter and a visit to Ruby. I began almost 3 weeks of visits to the lovely Fred and Stan and had an afternoon with Paddy, I also did a 10 day live-in with Bobby, so we had a lot of muddy park walks and ball games on the hills that she likes. She also came to the photography club with me and the studio - she took it all in her stride and loved all the attention. Amongst all that I also had almost a week of visits to Ripples and Tango who loved their play time with me.
Text message from Avril - Bobby's owner
"Thanks again for minding her so well and for all the cleaning too"
I kept my bookings for January minimal, after a really busy year I just needed a bit of down-time before the February madness starts. So the month began finishing the New Year breaks with Molly & Coco and Trixie & Faye. I then had a weekend looking after the beautiful Dexter and started back up with Nala and the two Coco's. I had 2 weekends with Molly & Coco, a morning with Bobby then towards the end of the month I had a couple of visits to Raffles.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, wishing you all a happy and healthy 2024
