I started this business back in July 2016 and over the last two and a half years I have built up a lovely set of clients with beautiful pets of all shapes and sizes. Firstly, I would like to thank all of them for their trust in me. I appreciate that handing over your house keys to someone you have just met is a massive decision to make. Secondly, I would like to thank everyone for their return bookings. It's great to know that I am providing a service that people are very happy with........check out their feedback in the various sections and below.
2021 has been another interesting year living with Covid and ending with both that and the new variant, Omicron. Thank you to my clients this year, both old and new. I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a
Happy and Healthy 2022...
stay safe everyone
Here we are back in December again. The year seems to have flown by.
I've had my regular clients - those being Coco and Nala, but I did have my first live-in with Nala for a weekend. It went really well and she had lots of cuddles. I managed to spend and evening with the lovely little Juliet and I had a couple with Paddy. I also welcomed three new clients - Enfys, Rafles and Sassy. The following week I managed to get a pre Christmas evening with Dexter and then in between Xmas and New Year i spent a couple of days with Bobby.
There will be some schedule adjustments coming up for me in January....so stay tuned for some new client shout-outs!

Review from Diana - Raffles, Enfys and Sassy's owner (via Pawshake)
"Kylie had a long introductory session with the dogs, so I was happy that she thoroughly understood their needs. She sent me lots of photos on the day and they looked happy and content. In addition she fed my cat and put my lights on . Great service ."
November continued with my regular visits to Nala and Coco. On the first weekend of the month Mischief and I got to hang our for a number of visits whilst her mum was away. The following week I had a lunchtime walk with Shay and then on the Friday night I looked after Dexter. The following night I welcomed a new client, Patricia and her sweet little dog, Juliet.
October began with a day off following the live -in with Bobby and then I was back for the weekend with her. One of Nala's owners was still unwell and then that was followed by annual leave so I had a couple of weeks off from that client. I sitll saw Coco every week and had a day with Dexter too. The last two weeks were back to normal with Nala. Half term week was busy with additional cat visiting bookings for James & Daisy and Bella & Bear. I also enjoyed having an evening of cuddled with Max and Buddy to close the month
September Covid-19 Business Update:
Business is back to normal, with a few tweaks:
I am fully vaccinated and am doing lateral flow tests (LFT's) to protect you, me and my family. When carrying out bookings I would still prefer to come in after you have left and leave before you arrive home, if that is not viable then I will still be adhering to social distancing and mask wearing where I feel I need to. Overnight stays are now taking place.
Essential Practice -
if you suspect covid please get a PCR test done. If you have had a positive test result I will not be able to come to your home until you have cleared your advised isolation time. This also includes 'posting your dog out the door' to me as you will have been stroking the dog, so that is a form of surface contact.

September has been a little different and began with my normal days with Nala, but then she had to have an emergency spay so she was laid up for a few days in her 'supergirl' suit. I had a few days with her, then her owners had a week off, I was back a few more days and then one was unwell. In between all that I did a week of visits to the lovely Fin and then had my first overnight with Paddy the Pug. The following weekend I moved in to look after Dexter. I had a walk with Coco after their holidays and then the month finished with a weeks live-in with Bobby.
I had my regular clients throughout August, which included my days with Nala and walks with Coco. The 6th August saw my first Wedding Day Package become reality. All the preparation visits with Max and Buddy were for this one day. They were as good as gold and I managed to get them into their little tuxedos and get them and the Bride's mothers dog - Tink - to the venue ready for the dogs to be included in the wedding pictures. The Bride and Groom were so happy, and they looked great.
From Charlie (aka.Doggy Mum aka The Bride)
" Kylie has been incredible with our 2 pups Max and Buddy and made our wedding dreams come true by getting them suited and booted and bringing them to our wedding for a much needed photoshoot. Max fell in love with Kylie instantly and was always excited and ready to play whenever he saw her. Buddy is very nervous and wary of new people but Kylie did everything she could right from the start to get onto his level (which is very low) and slowly help him build up trust and a relationship with her. We never had any concerns leaving the boys with Kylie on our wedding day as we knew they were in such capable hands. She even looked after my mums dog on the day too and brought her along for photos on the big day. Thank you again so much!"
Following on from the wedding in August I had visits with Sox whilst her owners were on holiday, walks with Shay the husky and a couple of Sundays visiting Daisy and Lily. I visited Cookie for a couple of weekends and also had a week with visits to the cats Bella and Bear who's owners were away on their honeymoon (congrats Sam & Heather. The same week I also had visits to James and Daisy too....it's been another busy one and September looks like it will be similar.....but I love my job.
Review from Maria (Nala's Owner) via Google Business Pages
"Kylie is lovely and caring with our dog Nala. She has been doing regular visits since January, we couldn't be happier with the service provided and Nala loves her. High quality in every aspect, she definitely has passion for her job."
At the start of July I had a message from Romeo's owners to say they are moving away....I'm sad to see them go but the messages they sent were lovely.
From Danielle (Romeo's owner):
From Danielle (Romeo's owner):
"Hi Kylie, just a message to say that we're moving to Derby next week. Thank you so much for being so reliable and so good with Romeo. i wouldn't have trusted anyone else with him when he was sick. We're really sad to be moving further away and you will be sorely missed"
From Mark (Romeo's ewner):
"Thanks for all the time you've put in with him, I know how long he takes to warm to new people so it's no small feat to end up with him cuddling you!"
July continued at the same pace as June and has again been the busiest on record. My days continued with regular visits to Nala, who turned 1 this month. I welcomed new a client, Emma, with her dog Rosie, cats Rafiki and Robbie and 7 chickens too. I visited them all for a week whilst they were on holiday. I had a day with Paddy the Pug who also had his 1st birthday this month. I saw Lilie and Daisy again and then also spent a week with the beautiful Toby and the koi carp. I had my walks with Coco, visits to Max and Buddy (before their owners wedding next month. The month ended with two live-ins in one week. Monday to Friday morning I was with Skye, Flick, Pepper and the 3 Guinea Pigs - Frankenstein, Nero and Cesar. Then for Friday to Sunday I had my first live-in with Dexter so his owners could go to a family wedding........what a whirlwind of a month.
Facebook Review from Emma Jerome - Owners of Rosie, Rafiki, Robbie and the 7 Chickens
"Kylie did a drop in service for my dog, cats and chickens every day last week, the price was really reasonable and my pets absolutely love her. She sent pics every day as agreed and we were really pleased with her service.
We will definitely book her again."

June has been very busy, in fact it has ben the busiest June of PAWfect Friends to date....which is brilliant - so thank you to all my existing clients and to those who are new as well.
So I continued to have the beautiful Nala with her regular slots throughtout the weeks. I had a lovely couple of days walking Shay at lunchtimes and then a Saturday with Paddy the sweet little Pug. I had my first evening sit with Dexter, who is Nala's best mate. I also popped in on Romeo and had a weekend with new cients Flick, Pepper and Skye. They were good as gold and super cute too along with the guinea pig, Frankenstein. I started back with Coco on Wednesdays, had a week visiting Fred and Stan whilst their owner was away and then had a long weekend live-in with Bobby. I also had a visit with the wedding party dogs - Buddy and Max.

"Honestly you are so good at what you do...Paddy loves it when you come" ... Ellis Paige Cook - Paddington's (Paddy's) owner
Facebook Review from Karen Edwards - Dexter's owner
"Thank you so much for sitting with Dexter last night, never seen such a happy boy when you came into the house. I felt comfortable and confident going "out out" knowing that Dexter would be very well cared for in his own home. A brilliant service at a fair cost. Highly recommend."
Facebook Review from Zoe George - Flick, Pepper, Skye and Frankenstein's owner
"So pleased to have found Kylie to look after my 3 dogs and guinea pig for the weekend. She was superb, great meet and greet, she really understood the dogs and was totally at ease dealing with them bouncing all over the place with excitement at seeing someone new. I felt completely happy leaving them in Kylies care, she kept me updated with photos during the weekend and it was lovely to see them so relaxed in her company. Would definitely recommend to others and the dogs can't wait to see her when we go on our summer holiday." |

"What a great find Kylie is! Fantastic meet and greet, could tell she really loved dogs and even my often sulky sausage dog took to her. She really understood the needs of the girls and kept me up dated with pictures throughout the weekend. All the dogs looked happy snuggled up with her on the couch. Would definitely recommend and will be booking Kylie again"
May has seen business almost back to normal. It began with the remaining booked days visiting Lily and Daisy - they are soooo cute. I had Nala on her usual days. I visited Max and Buddy a couple of times as I'm working with their owners to build up Buddy's trust ready for Charlie and Tom's wedding day package. The month continued with visits to Romeo, Shay, Fin and Toby. I also welcomed new clients Paddington the Pug and Cammy & Patch - two gerbils.
Review from Ellis Paige Cook - Paddington's Owner
"Kylie looked after out pup tonight and was amazing with him. He didnt even realise we were gone as he was having so much fun! She was so patient and loving with him and we can't wait for her to come back!"
Review from Sairah Nolan - Cammy and Patch's Owner
"Kylie was kind enough to pop in to give my two gerbils, Cammy and Patch, a top up of food, water and fresh sand. It was my first time using a pet sitter, but was soon put at ease by Kylie's friendly demeanor. The whole process was simple from first contact to payment. I appreciated the photo confirmation that the visit had been made. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kylie's services again. Thank you."
April Covid-19 Update
Firstly I hope you are all still safe and well.
***The Government have laid out a 'roadmap' for coming out of the national lockdown. As a result I am still permitted to work in your home, but please only book me to arrive after you have left and to leave before you come home. Meet & Greet's can now go ahead either in the park or at your home in the garden, provided you have side access. Overnight stays will remain suspended until further notice.***

April has been quite busy and at the end of the month for the bank holiday I welcomed a new client with their two little Maltese dogs, Lily and Daisy.
The month began with a walk in the park with Bobby. I had Nala all through the month as normal and i integrated visits with Coco and Jenson in between. I also had a weekend visiting the lovely Bella and Bear

Review from Rebecca Abley - Daisy & Lily's Owner
"5 star, I would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for looking after my two dogs. I was able to enjoy my bank holiday weeky away knowing that they were being well looked after. I will definitely be booking you again. I think my dogs really miss you"
March - We are beginning to slowly have restrictions lifted as part of the Covid-19 'roadmap', this has seen a surge of bookings coming in from regular clients for their holiday live-in's. I have been taking bookings as far ahead as July 2022.
I have worked with Nala for most of March, enjoy taking a look at the fun month we've had.

February brought us a bit more snow which Nala loved. Due to a health issue she has been removed from her doggy day care play center and I have been working with her for a few hours 3-4 days a week. Its been good and we are getting on very well. She gets so excited to see me which is lovely, and we have our routines established now, to the point she's telling me what comes next. I also managed to see Jenson one of he days. He's grown again bless him, we had a nice walk in the valley, and he's doing really well on his lead now.
January 2021 - Covid-19 Business Update
***We now sit in Tier 4. As people are still permitted to work in people's homes I will still be able to trade but this comes with certain terms and conditions. Please only book me to arrive after you leave and depart before you come home if I am doing a sit-in...this reduces the contact we have and benefits both parties.
I will still be able to walk your dog and call in on your cats.
Overnight stays are currently suspended.***

January has been fairly quiet because of the current Covid restrictions, but i have still been able to welcome my new client, beautiful 6 mth old Nala. I've also seen Jenson - omg how much has he grown over the last few weeks, and I had a couple of visits with Mischief, who I've not seen since she was a kitten.
Review from Richard Hooker - Nala's owner :
"Kylie has been looking after Nala regularly and has been amazing with our fluffball. Nala often demands tummy rubs, back scratches, treats, lots of food and walks!! But Kylie has managed all of this no problem keeping our pup company when we are not about. You can tell she also really cares for animals and takes a good photo to keep us updated too. Thanks Kylie ."
